About the author

Jusuf Buxhovi was born in Peja on 4 August 1946. He started his primary school in Gjakova and headed to Ponoshec of Dukagjini. While secondary school in Gjakova. In 1968 he graduated from the University of Prishtina (Albanian Language and Literature Branch). In 1979 he graduated in postgraduate studies at the University of Prishtina branch. He enrolled in the topic “Albanian League of Prizren in German documents”.

The journalist’s career began in Pristina’s “Rilindja” newspaper in 1967, initially as a journalist of culture, and later its editor. From 1976 to 2000 he was the permanent correspondent of the “Rilindja” accredited in Bonn of Germany. While from 2000-2008, in addition to literary activity, he was engaged in historiographic research in German archives.
